Event Rules and Code of Conduct

Event Rules

There will be a total of 9 fighters

Fighter will need to use 1 A class, 1 S Class, 1 SS Class champion and in no particular order.

The contest is in a linear fashion.

All players are allowed to participate but the order to which a fighter is placed are as follows:

The first fighter who submits a 3-0 match result determines the order of the contest. The match would need to be in the same setup as 1 A class, 1 S Class, 1 SS Class champion and in no particular order.

The matchups will be best out of 5 matches (3 out of 5).

When is comes to disconnecting. Only systematic disconnects are allowed. Meaning it is not volunary and is not under any control. The network notice as it can also be unvoluntary, but unfortunately it can easily be done on purpose in simply disconnecting the nearby wireless router or switching networks while in game play in turn will reveal the network notice. Also it is expected of you to keep still. If you move; you increase the chance in receiving the network notice. If the specific notice comes up that is shown here; immidiately screenshot the notice and send it to me WHILE THE MATCH IS TAKING PLACE and NOT afterwards.

Live recording.

All players are responsible for live video recording their matches. There are very narrow and limited reasons as to why submitting shared videos. If a contestant after being told to live record, but refused to comply and submits a shared video instead; the video will only become valid if the opponent agrees with the match result. In said matchup, if player A submits a screen recording of said match and player B submits a shared recording of the same match; the decision will be made from Player A screen recording. Reason being is that live(screen) recording is 100% accurate as shared recording is 90% accurate.

If a fighter drops out for any reason a wildcard fighter will be put in place.

The process is as follows:

The chosen fighter fights the first of the 8 other challengers.

The winner of that fight moves onward holding the title against the next fighter.

The winner of that next fight becomes the new seated title holder or defending title holder and the cycle continues until the very last fighter.

Winner becomes Elder God Champion

Lag is an unavoidable situation that is not game specific. The organizer reserves the right to determine what is allowed and what is not. Disconnects of any kind other than systematic with proof, will result of automatic loss for that specific match, but not the whole matchup. Please do research on what will provide you with the best internet connection and be sure to optimize your phone before entering the tournament matches. IGN change is not allowed. VPN is allowed because it is a measure to improve on the lag issue if NO PLUGIN / NO CHEAT CODE IS USED OR OTHER THAT PROVIDES ANYTHING MORE than what is NORMAL, reflecting the programming intent.

CODE OF CONDUCT

There will be no harassment, threats, intimidation, negative communication inside or outside the tournament. Competitive talk and statements of only pointing out a fact with proof beyond a reasonable doubt is allowed, but in a positive manner. No insults. Combos in a pattern is not considered spam in any fighting game. Combos are meant to not have your opponent to block. The spam element was removed from the major update.

Players have the responsibility to demonstrate discipline, maturity, and the way to conduct themselves. Any trickery, covert action, and anything that will end in a negative and compromising condition towards a contestant, tournament organizer, the game itself and any other entity will result in an immediate disqualification.

Again, the event organizer reserves the right to update the event rules, code of conduct, and process in the spirit to bring forth a fair and balanced activity.

Timing

All participants have the responsibility to be available at all times. We all work to maintain ourselves and household. We have schedules that limit our tournament involvement but does not excuse to not respond in an immediate manner. All participants are expected to be proactive in scheduling their respective match ups with their opponent. I will assist, but I am not the one who will be fighting. Players have 24 hours to respond to each other. If 24 hours passes; a warning of a match point strike will be issued. If no response is still not made; then the match strike will be issued. Screen recorded matches are strongly recommended to be uploaded right after the match. I will allow up to 12 hours from the matchup to upload the said match, otherwise the match will need to be redone. Both players are expected to record so this situation does not happen. If a fighter does not respond, be made available, or other that equals to not holding a match for 48 hours straight after notice/communication for the matchup; will be then considered vacant and wildcard process will begin.

Event Process

Step 1
Contestant fights others until he or she wins the match 3-0 with their first character.

Step 2
Player registers via the JotForm link (agrees to rules and process). Player will submit their Facebook Name and current In Game Name (No IGN changes while in the event.
I will accept applicants until I receive the first 9 fighters. I will ID the 9 fighters and will then accept 1 or 2 wildcard replacements.

Step 3
Internal preparation will be done.

Step 4

Step 5
After the matchup, usually the winner uploads, but either player can submit all of the matches through the upload link. Only players of the event will get entry credentials to upload the videos. Videos will be processed in a timely manner and uploaded to the event youtube channel and posted in the Final Fighter Soul Warrior facebook community and The Final Fighter Official Community to see.

Step 6
Winner will be posted on the community final fighter activity website, facebook pages and in the youtube channel.
